The Blades Aerobatic Team supports The Two Fat Submariners Charity Year 

The Blades aerobatic have shown their support of the Two Fat Submariners by offering 4 exclusive flights for auction to aid the charity fundraising team. Since taking to the sky in 2006 The Blades, four former RAF Red Arrows pilots, have flown over 300 displays in front of more than 18 million people, carried over 1,000 corporate event guests and reached hundreds of millions of people through the media. Located at Sywell Aerodrome near Northampton, The Blades are the UK's only full-time civilian aerobatic team and the world's only aerobatic airline, fully accredited by the CAA.

Phil Aiken from the Blades said, “The Blades are a world class team and we hope that with our support the sky will not be the limit for the Two Fat Submariners in their fund raising quest for their charities. Barry and Steve have set themselves tough targets and by supporting them with 4 aerobatic flights I hope that they will be further inspired to succeed. So too I hope that someone puts up enough of a donation to get these sailors in the sky - there are parachutes waiting with their names on!”  

Steve Mills, one of the Two Fat Submariners (and the least likely to want to fly!) said, “This is a fantastic offer from The Blades. Having the opportunity to fly in close formation with an aerobatic team with the heritage of The Blades is truly amazing. This opportunity is a must for any flying fan and I know that auctioning these flights will add a significant amount to our end total. I cannot wait to see the auction winners fly and for even more money Barry and I could be prepared to strap a parachute to our backs and join the winner!”
