Artist Neil Higgs has donated one of his favourite paintings for auction by the Two Fat Submariners. The painting known as Whiskey Golf depicts an ex-Royal Navy Hawker Sea Fury T-20 flying high above a

mountainous landscape.

Barry said “This is a marvelous painting by Neil and I am sure that it will reach a high auction price as we have a lot of interest from the Armed Forces and in particular the RN. I have been watching Neil for a while now and note how much he enjoys his artwork and photography. I was amazed with Neil when he selected this painting for us to auction. I am very excited about this and I am sure there will be a lot of interest”. 

Neil Higgs added, “I have been watching the progress that Barry and Steve have made and what they have undertaken is something quite different and very challenging. When I was asked if there was something I could do to help them, Whiskey Golf was my immediate choice due to the connection with the Royal Navy/Fleet Air Arm. The painting is part of my collection of aviation art ranging from World War II to present day. I hope that the paintings raises a good some for the two guys and I wish them the very best for the year ahead.”
