17th January 2010

Speedway rider Jamie Courtney to carry the Two Fat Submariners logo and website address in 2010

Professional speedway rider Jamie Courtney has agreed to help raise public awareness and show his support by wearing the Two Fat Submariners Logo and Website address on his speedway clothing for the 2010 speedway season.  Jamie, 21,  who races for the Glasgow Tigers in the UK Premier League and Kings Lynn Barracudas in the National Speedway League commented “I am only too pleased to wear the logo and website of The Two Fat Submariners for the 2010 season. The three challenges they are undertaking for Help for Heroes, NSPCC and Make a Wish Foundation are extremely difficult and by wearing their logo and website address I hope that I can help them raise their profile within the speedway community which will raise more money over the year.”

Barry Bishop, one of the Two Fat Submariners, said, “I used to ride speedway myself and I really appreciate this gesture from Jamie. Selling space on your race suit is a vital part of any racers income and support, so what Jamie has done for us is fantastic. I hope also that by doing this for us we can also help him raise some more sponsorship for the 2010 season”.
