Moto and Supercross Rider George Purchase to carry the Two Fat Submariners logo in 2010 series

Moto and Supercross Rider George Purchase has agreed to help raise public awareness of the Two Fat Submariners year by wearing the Submariners Logo on his racing livery in 2010. 18 year old George, who rides a KTM 250F and a KTM 250SX,  has a string of titles already at club and national level and has competed in the UK and Europe. In 2010 he is riding in the Belgian motocross series and the MX323 British under 23 series. He will also ride in the British Supercross champion rounds in Liverpool and London.

George commented on the deal with the submariners, “When the Two Fat Submariners approached me about potentially getting involved with their year of giving, I had just returned from training in Belgium, and I instantly knew that it made sense to be part of this project. They are working with charities that serve people who need our help and it is an honour to promote it. I am sure that Barry and Steve will do well and I hope they will come to one of my meetings this year.”

Fat Submariner Barry Bishop said, “The Purchase family have been in motorsport for years. George is probably the best natural talent on a motorbike I have seen for a long time and I am sure he could go to the top in whatever discipline he chooses. The fact that he has taken the time to truly understand what the Two Fat Submariners want to achieve and get involved with us is wonderful. I cannot wait to see our logo’s on Georges bikes and racing equipment.”
