Two Fat Submariners to support the Speedway Ben Fund

The Two Fat Submariners have agreed to share the proceeds of a T shirt signed by all participating riders who competed in this year’s Ben Fund Bonanza at Rye House with the Speedway Riders Ben Fund.

The Ben Fund supports speedway riders that have suffered severe injuries as a result of accidents in the sport and helps them by way of home enhancements and general support by way of grants at times of need.

Barry said, “As we are embarking upon a year of giving it seems only right that we share these proceeds of the auction of the T shirt when it’s sold. It has the signatures of many of the worlds top riders today on it and I am sure it will be pride of place in a speedway collection. I would like to thank Two Fat Submariner rider Adam Sheppard and his family, along with Denis Cairns for making this happen. The Auction will take place at the end of May when we will have lots of other items for sale too.”

Paul Ackroyd from Ben Fund said, “Our fund will be very pleased to share the proceeds of the auction with Two Fat Submariners and we wish them all the best for their year.”
